Brussels Airport Company relies on C-Site to monitor a variety of (construction) projects. One project we are very proud of is the transformation of Brucargo Central Development.
For more than a decade, cargo handling at Brussels Airport has experienced steady and sustainable growth. We are pleased to play a role in this transformation, capturing the essence of a proactive investment. Brussels Airport is redefining the efficiency of logistics and preparing for the future. The redevelopment of the cargo area is not just a construction project; it is a major step towards a more sustainable airport. This project strengthens Brussels Airport as one of Belgium's main economic gateways.
In 2022, eight old buildings were torn down to make way for a greener freight zone. Now it's time for the next step: three new logistics buildings, complete with office facilities and a parking tower, will rise. Completion is scheduled for 2025. The mobility layout is undergoing a transformation, ensuring a smooth flow of traffic through the thorough renovation of existing roads and an improved modal split.
As we turn our cameras on the Brucargo Central Development project with Brussels Airport Company, we are not just witnessing growth; we are flying toward a future of sustainable progress!
Thanks to Brussels Airport Company for trusting us to monitor every step of this transformation. Special thanks to Michiel Van Mieghem for allowing us to use the visual material. We look forward to continuing this partnership.
