To the north of the Netherlands, the 32km-long Afsluitdijk is being renewed. This dike connects North Holland with Friesland and separates the IJsselmeer from the Wadden Sea. This makes it literally the longest C-SITE project. The works on the Afsluitdijk are being carried out by Levvel on behalf of Rijkswaterstaat. Levvel is a consortium consisting of Bam Infra, Rijkswaterstaat and Rebel.
At C-SITE, we have captured the renewal of the Afsluitdijk since 2019 with as many as 23 different camera positions!
To keep interested parties informed, the works can be followed in real time thanks to our livestream modality: Live images
Another project you can watch via livestream thanks to C-SITE is the renewal of the Royers Lock in Antwerp.
