The Westland Shopping Center in Anderlecht, the second largest shopping center in our capital, was recently renovated. The shopping center's success is well established. In 45 years, the center has become a popular destination on the west side of Brussels. This explains the willingness of AG Real Estate, which owns a large part of the site, to invest heavily in the future. The site was completely transformed, both inside and out. This investment project was subjected to a thorough study that will benefit all stakeholders: the shopkeepers, the local residents and the municipality of Anderlecht.
The Westland shopping center thus received an entirely new look in which light and open spaces will be prominent. A total of 17,700 m² of space was added and the existing volume was thoroughly renovated. We are very pleased that AG Real Estate is demonstrating with this project that not only new construction projects are interesting for our camera services. Renovations also provide a visually interesting journey, demonstrating the expertise of the construction team.
We followed up the works on behalf of AG Real Estate with 3 cameras. This allowed us to perfectly capture this major renovation project.
Camera 1 showed a nice view of the entire mall throughout the renovation period:
Camera 2 and 3 together provided a seamlessly combined compositional image of the parking deck renovation:
Would you like some more explanation about the possibilities of compositing images through different cameras, both horizontal and vertical? Then feel free to contact our team.
Did you know that we also monitored the construction of more than 180 schools for AG Real Estate for the Schools of Tomorrow project? Read more about it in this article.
